Our Leadership

Lead Pastor/Elder

Mike is the Lead Pastor and Elder of Living Hope Church. You can call him Mike or by his beloved nickname, “Doooskey.”

Mike isn’t about titles or position and thinks we all need to be careful of taking ourselves too seriously. The one thing we should be serious about is our commitment to Jesus. This is what Mike is passionate about – Seeing Jesus transform lives, relationships and communities through the power of the gospel.

He is also passionate about the local church. He believes the local church should be alive and vibrant in its community both in and outside of the walls of a building and in the homes of people in the church.

Storytelling is something that Mike is known for, although sometimes he tells the same stories far too many times. Mike also enjoys watching and playing sports, occasionally playing Halo with friends, spending time with people and hanging out with his wife McKenzie, their 2 daughters, Lila and Kitty, and son, Lincoln.

Mike has an inner nerd. He enjoys science fiction, owns a large telescope, has a degree in biochemistry and would almost rather stargaze than watch the Superbowl… Almost.

Elder/Administrative Pastor

David is a man of many talents. He is married to Joella and has 3 children. He is a member of the Air National Guard, working part time at the local base and he owns multiple investment properties.

David is an Elder for Living Hope and plays a role as a key decision maker and monitor.

David mixes the practical and spiritual well, giving input and oversight over the churches administrative, grounds, building, community and pastoral activities.

He has a passion for Jesus and the church and adds a strong mind to the leadership team of Living Hope.

Worship Director

Tyler has been married to his wife Michele since May 2014. They have 3 kids.

As worship director, Tyler serves by leading the band and casting vision for corporate worship at Living Hope.

Tyler works as an electrician at the local school district. Tyler loves to play drums (as well as any other instrument he can get a hold of).

Tyler and Michele lead a community group (with childcare!) in their home on Thursday nights.
