If you’ve never experienced Jesus before, or if you’re new to following Him, you might be considering joining a church. Jesus really loves the church.
For many of us, the word “church” has common religious stigmas that go along with it. Some have had hurtful past experiences and the very thought of church causes them to relive those hurts all over again. Others prefer to live life more spiritually shut off and might see the church as just therapy, pointless organized religion or a money scheme.
So what did Jesus say about the concept of church? It may be hard to believe, but Jesus is actually for church and against religion. He stood up to the religious elite in His day and declared that His Gospel was about His grace and not about His rules. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is what the church was established on and it’s what He charged the church to show the world.
At Living Hope Church we value the Gospel over religion and Jesus over everything. We’re not perfect, but He is. To learn more about about what we believe, read our values.
What To Expect on a Sunday
We want our guests to feel at home, welcomed, included and relaxed. It’s important to us that each guest has an opportunity to meet new people, see who we are and experience God’s presence.
Each week we worship God and hear relevant teaching from the Bible about Jesus. The order of our service is:
- Kidz Club (Grades K – 6th)
- 45 min of Worship
- 45 min Message from Scripture

- Authentic Worship
- We believe that worship should be relevant to the culture in which we live. Our worship will be lively and celebratory, as well as warm and reflective. At all times we desire for our worship to bring glory to Jesus.
- Community Groups
- We believe that life-change takes place best in community groups. Our desire is to provide a warm, loving and open environment where friendships are real, life issues are addressed and we are all challenged to grow deeper in our faith. We also actively serve our community in a variety of ways to impact it for God's glory.
- Multi-Generational
- We are a multi-generational community composed of people of all ages who desire to worship God and serve one another in authentic ways. The majority of our members are under age forty, but we embrace every believe there is strength and balance in embracing all generations.
- Newfrontiers
- We're a Newfrontiers Church. Newfrontiers is a church planting movement in the form of a non-denominational, worldwide family of churches together on a mission to establish the kingdom of God by restoring the church, making disciples, training leaders and planting new churches. - Purpose-Driven
- Some churches are "tradition-driven." Living Hope Church is driven by the purposes which God has established for the church: Worship, Evangelism, Discipleship, Relationship and Ministry.
- Relationships
- We are a relational church. If you're looking for a friend, then Living Hope is the place to be. We believe that relationships are critical to building a healthy, thriving church.
