Are You Ready?
Are you ready? It’s here. What is it? It’s Easter. It’s the greatest celebration for us as Christians. Our Savior crushed the bonds of death and rose victorious from the grave. Jesus is alive. And because He lives we now live in, and through, the same power that raised Him from the dead. Christ now lives in us. It’s crazy and it’s amazing.
Easter also means this is the time of year when those you’ve been inviting to church are very likely to say ‘YES’! Call it what you will: a cultural phenomenon, crazy (or call me crazy), just call somebody and invite them to church. If they’ve said ‘no’ before give them another chance to say ‘YES’. And maybe – no, we believe – they will come to know Jesus. Jesus said so, He is drawing people to Himself, today.
So go for it! Invite someone. The worst they will say is ‘no’ and usually, in America, they’re pretty nice even when they say ‘no’.
